STUDYPREP - STUDY PREPARATORY COURSE (European Model)
Purpose
The course aims to prepare young people with different ethnic and/or cultural backgrounds to study in Denmark during a period of 3 to 5 years by giving them knowledge about Danish culture, education, counseling and foreign language.
Audience
The primary audience are young people with different ethnic and/or cultural backgrounds who want to study in Denmark during a period of 3 to 5 years. The secondary audience is other young people who want to study in Denmark for a shorter or longer period, or who wish to acquire knowledge of European culture before they continue their studies in their own homeland.
Course Description
The study preparatory course "European model" is designed in close social contact with other young people from Denmark and Europe to prepare foreign students to study in medium and long-distance higher education in Denmark and in doing so stay in Denmark for a period of 3 to 5 years.
The course uses high school environment as a foundation for the acquisition of social skills, social interaction with young people from Europe and the personal network expansion.
The course has four main elements: study guide, language studies, engineering studies and community studies to ensure that the students choose the right studio, have sufficient European education and pedagogical knowledge to follow this, have a good linguistic foundation and are adequately adjusted in the Danish society so primarily to focus on getting the most out of their studies.
Competence:
The student must have a broad knowledge of:
- the Danish education system
- the pedagogical methods used in Danish Education
- the techniques and instruments used in the Danish study
- expectations for student / teacher / school

- be convinced of its linguistic level in English and Danish
